Support Groups

Support groups can provide a number of benefits. They connect people who share similar experiences. They encourage meaningful contributions. And they provide education and shared resources. It all helps build confidence and relationships as people continue their post-injury journey. Aphasia Support Group – East Lansing, MI
4th Wednesday of Every Month: 2:00pm-3:00pm

Aphasia is the loss of ability to produce and/or comprehend language. This is often a result of traumatic injury, stroke, or other damage to the neurologic system.

Hope Network Rehabilitation Services invites people with aphasia, family members, caregivers, and professionals to discuss and support one another through monthly meetings led by experts in neuro-rehabilitation.

Through discussion with others who have experienced TBI (traumatic brain injury), participants can gather information, share common experiences, develop relationships, and express feelings in a safe and supportive environment.
